Me and my work
I lecture biochemistry, microbiology and research methods to 2nd and 3rd year university students, and I conduct research into novel therapeutic agents against pancreatic cancer.
My Typical Day
My typical day starts with a run at the beach (what a way to start the day!), breakfast with my 2 awesome kids then off to work. At work I liaise with students, develop course material, and design and conduct research projects tackling the devastating disease that is pancreatic cancer.
What I'd do with the money
Set up an initiative to engage local High School students with the Science Faculty at my University to encourage more students into Science…
