The biggest star ever discovered is VY Canis majoris. Over a billion times as big as our sun. To get an idea of how big this is here is a little video
See my other post on this question that someone else asked. If VY Canis Majoris (that’s the biggest star known) where sitting where the Sun sits, it would swallow Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and Jupiter!
