Hey ghosthunter100. the bugs responsible for diseases you mention are bacteria. Antibiotics target specific mechanisms in the bacteria (such as their cell wall, their ability to make protein to continue functioning, etc.) and these guys are all pretty clever. They have a fantastic ability to “mutate” themselves to avoid the effect of these antibiotics. As mentioned in previous posts, there are a number of different “super bugs” that have become resistant to antibiotics and this is a real problem in many hospitals.
