Question: would the Australian Science Education Centre forum work somwhat like this site?

    Hi Shadycactus,

    That would be one of the aims. To have a forum where students could talk about science with other students and also talk to scientists that want to help out on a regular basis.

    Where as this site is very intense with a lot of questions. the forum would be a place to go for information that you kniw is going to be good, and get support or advice about things.

    Another part of it would be for information for teachers, to offer them support from scientists and other communicators.

      My aim would be to get scientists, including myself, to be regular contacts to the forum. There are a number of youtube people that i am also after to help with this sort of thing as they make some excellent educational videos.

    I think Dustin’s idea is great and not incompatible with what I want to do as well. I have a feeling that either way this ends up we will end up working together. At least I hope so 🙂
