I would say no because everything is so far apart that you would spend so long on the trip that you would be old at the end. Until we work out how to break the laws of physics we are stuck in our little corner of the universe.

Hi sciencemaniac and shaunt,
In order to do that, we need to work out a way of travelling massive distances safely. With our current technology it is simply not feasible.
At a minimum we need faster than light travel, but even still the distances between galaxies is huge, much larger than the distances between the stars which is a major problem to start with.

Probably not. Using current technology it would take decades or hundreds of years to get to the nearest star, which is only four light years away. At the speeds we could reach galactic travel would take too long. A fundamentally different form of travel would have to be invented.

Hi Sciencemaniac and Shaunt,
At the moment it doesn’t look like it, but you never know what technological advances will be made in the future!
