Question: When did your love of reptiles begin

    Hi jdoyle,

    Actually, I can still remember the day. It was year 3, Tuncurry public school. One of the teachers, I cannot remember his name, but he had a beard and was wearing a blue jumper.

    He had brought into class a diamond python and we all got to go up and have a pat of it.

    That was the first time I remember being really close to a snake, and while I was interested in other animals, bats, dinosaurs, sharks, etc, snakes always held my interest.

    From there I got interested in the other reptiles.
