Keywords: monotreme
Hi pnemonoultramicroscopicsillicovolcanoconiosis
Well I imagine you are referring to still living species of monotreme. In that sense there are 5 species still living.
Two species in Australia, platypus and short beaked echidna, and three species of long beaked echidna in new guinea.
There were other species, however, have gone extinct.
3
so they would be Ornythithyricus anatinus, Tachyglossus aculeatus, Zaglossus bartoni, Zaglossus attenboroughi and zaglossus bruijni. Thanks Dustin =D
