Question: what reptile do you think is the weirdest and unusual why do you think this?

    Hi Tommy and epics

    I would have to pick turtles on this. They are one of the strangest animals in general. No other animal (vertebrate) even comes close to their weirdness – seriously who brings their house with them.

    The evolution of turtles is quite fascinating though and is still not completely solved, but it appears that they evolved each half of their shells at different times in their evolutionary history.

    No offence Dustin but I can think of quite alot of animals that bring there homes with them snails, mollusks and some crustaceans although turtles are the only reptiles with shells on them and are extremely fascinating.
