Question: why is it when you touch the iPod screen it reacts to where you touched it?

  2. This is a good question that James’ link will give you more info on. The short answer though is that there is a change in electrical current. That is why if you wear gloves and try and use the touch screen, they generally wont work because there is no change in the electrical current.
