Absolutely. It is all I ever wanted to do since I was a little kid. I literally would not know what else to do if I couldn’t be an astronomer. Billionaire playboy is probably next on my list.

I really love my job too. Teaching the next crop of scientists is really great, so is my research. There is a real possibility that the research we are doing will make a difference for the lives of pancreatic cancer sufferers. This is what gets me out of bed each morning (plus a strong coffee). Like Steven, I think i’ could also be a billionaire playboy too. maybe in my next life?!?

It is a strange thing about scientists, it is likely that all of them love their job.
I am sure it is possible that a scientist doesnt like their job, but i have never met any.
I certainly enjoy mine.

Yes, I do like my job. I think its important to do what you love, and to love what you do – otherwise there isn’t really much point doing it! 🙂
