Question: how dose garlic kill bacteria?

    Vampires hate the stuff.

    It is supposed to have very good anti-bacterial and anti-fungal qualities. Experiments in the lab have shown that this is the case, it does appear to kill bacteria including oral bacteria, however, when it comes to the effectiveness of this in the human body, these effects seem to disappear.

    There are a couple of scientific papers that show that it is effective for killing oral bacteria in humans but the evidence overall looks pretty thing.
