Question: Do you think that the universe will ever end

The observational evidence at the moment says that the Universe is expanding at an ever increasing rate and that it will continue to accelerate so quickly that eventually the galaxies will be pulled apart, all the stars and solar systems will be pulled apart and eventually small objects like the Earth and everything on it will be pulled apart. The forecast is for a cold, dark, empty and lonely Universe some tens of billions of years into the future that just keeps getting bigger and colder and darker. I don’t know, does that qualify as the Universe ending? No, but in a way yes.
